In short, after a lifechanging burn out while working at a fashion corporate job the year I turned 30.
It shocked all I held as true, and it opened my eyes to three realizations:
I had been working and living in dis-alignment with my values and purpose for years, following a pre-conditioned idea of what success and wellness is.
It was a slow built-up that lead to severe health problems, which I am still recovering from today. Therefore, our body loudly manifests whatever is happening in all areas of one’s life.
If the system we built for ourselves is flowed and our physical body is clearly affected by it, what are we doing at a bigger scale, to our habitat? Individual choices alone can make a difference, but it is collective effort that drive change. Corporations are the most influential collective to move towards a sustainable model.
While the glamour, beauty and creativity of my job spoke to my love for artistic expression, I knew there was something more important I had to do with my work. That brought to me the determination to change paths and participate in the transformation of the systemic ecological impact of corporations and, at the same time, support people to transform their lifestyle through a healthy journey.
