 HOLISM is the idea that various systems (e.g. physical, biological, social) should be viewed as wholes, not merely as a collection of parts. That anything cannot exist independently from a whole. It is based on Interconnectedness.

When looking at one’s health, there is so much more beyond what we eat and our physical activity. Holism requires that we consider all aspects of our life, from relationships, financial security, career, or our own thoughts and belief system and how each of them affect each other; and ultimately materialize in our body with one ailment or another. In that way, health requires a holistic approach to find the root cause of any imbalance and solve the problem in a sustainable way, not just treating the symptoms.

 
 
 
 

NEUROSCIENCE is the field that bridges biology and psychology. Just as computers are hard-wired with electrical connections, the brain is hard-wired with neural connections, by repetition. This is how thoughts and believes are formed, later affecting our feelings and determining our behaviors.

But, neural connections can also be de-activated or changed. Therefore, so can thoughts, believes, feelings and behaviors.

Our thoughts and believes play a major role in propelling us towards success or in limiting us.

The good news is that you are not your feelings or your thoughts, you are who is experiencing them, and you can consciously  decide to behave differently to what you think or feel. By doing it repeatedly, you create new habits and neural connections that hold new thoughts and feelings.

Moving from a place of incoherence, where you don’t like your thoughts, feelings or behaviors, to a place of coherence and alignment.
